About Client Groups

Use Client Groups to create subsets of clients. You can use these subsets to make services available only to select clients. For example, a massage therapist might want to offer a special rate to members of a local yoga studio. The massage therapist creates a client group and adds the yoga students to it. The massage therapist then creates a service that is only available to members of the yoga group. (About Services)

You can create client groups even if you do not have any clients to add to the group. You can add or remove clients at any time. However, if a client has booked an appointment for a service that is only available to the group, the appointment is not canceled automatically when you remove that client from the group. If you do not want to keep the appointment, cancel it manually.

About Clients

Clients are the people who request appointments with you. Once a person is in your client list, you can view their Tymli.com profile, view their appointment history, or send them an appointment request. You can also send a promotional email or coupon to one or more clients.

Your Clients list expands in a number of ways. Tymli.com  automatically adds anyone who requests an appointment with you. You can use the Invite Your Clients button to send invitations by email. If the client already has a Tymli.com account, they appear in your Clients list immediately. However, service providers cannot add a client to the Clients list if the client does not already have a Tymli.com account.

About Services

Services are the types of appointments you make available to clients through Tymli.com. When clients use Tymli.com to request an appointment with you, they select a specific service from a list. You can add, remove, or modify services at any time. You can also make a service unavailable temporarily.

About Default and Custom Office Hours

Office hours are the hours that are available for clients to make appointments through Tymli.com.

Your Tymli.com office hours do not have to be the same as your actual business hours. For example, if your business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but you have a weekly staff meeting on Wednesday mornings, you can limit your Wednesday office hours to 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. That means you take your first appointment at 1:00 p.m. and your last appointment at 4:30 p.m.

You can set different office hours for different employees. For example, if John Smith only works mornings and Jane Jones only works evenings, you can set John’s office hours to 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Jane’s office hours to 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (You must have Tymli.com premium account to have multiple employees.)

Use the Default Office Hours section to set your normal hours. Use the Custom Office Hours section to set special hours for a particular date, such as a holiday or event.

About Account Types: Business Accounts (Service Providers) and Personal Accounts (Clients)

A business account allows you to set office hours, provide an appointment request button on your website and Facebook page, and manage appointments from customers and clients. Service providers create business accounts.

A personal account allows you to use Tymli.com to create, cancel, and manage your appointments with your service providers. Clients create personal accounts. Most service providers also create a separate personal account so they can use Tymli.com to make appointments with their own service providers. You must use a separate email address for each account.

About Action Buttons: Edit, Delete, Calendar, and More

Use the Action buttons to edit information, delete entries, view the calendar, and perform other actions that relate to the section of Tymli.com that you are using. Action buttons are available anywhere you can view a list, such as the Clients page and the Services page.

Edit button  Edit. Click to edit information about a service, client, employee, or other entry.

Delete button  Delete. Click to remove a service, client, employee, or other entry from your Tymli.com account.

Calendar button  Calendar. Click to view bookings, make an appointment, or manage your schedule.

Office hours button Office Hours. Click to view or update the office hours for an employee.

User button  User. Click to view or edit a user profile.
